Do You Have Too Many Flowerpots?

Sometimes it happens that we look around our homes, take a deep breath, and realize we’ve become hoarders filling every nook and dusty corner with the things that bring some sort of meaning to our odd sequestered lives.

In that moment, sometimes we’re tempted to say “everything gets chucked on the lawn for free taking.” When this involves flowerpots, we at Poesia Pottery advise thinking things through, walking slowly in circles holding each pot one at a time (possibly outside if you’ve hoarded so much there’s no walking path) as you consider how life would progress without its ceramic presence as part of your habitat. If you can live without it, put that sucker out for someone else to appreciate. If you can’t, maybe get rid of the fridge or the TV to make space and really dive deeper into your horticultural practice. We think it’s a worthwhile expenditure of time.
